I am a minimalist, striving to maintain order, and I dislike cluttering myself with unnecessary additions. However, deep down, I have the soul of a collector, and when I fancy a festive mug, I immediately put it in my basket and head towards the checkout. I don't hide the fact that wandering through home accessory stores like Zara Home or H&M Home brings me pleasure. It also happens that while watching a TV series, I spot BEAUTIFUL bedding in one of the scenes, and hours, sometimes even months, pass before I manage to find something similar online.
Hence the title "my trends" - here are a few things, colors, and styles that inspire me at the moment and for which I always find space in my apartment!
Recently, I came across charming glasses that caught my attention. I saw them some time ago at TkMaxx, and their uniqueness lay in transparent glass combined with a colored handle. Especially since they were in an intense shade of green, which added subtlety and elegance to the overall look. These simple yet stylish glasses resembled low cups, giving them a touch of sophistication.
While researching for the article, I found several similar models, including at Zara Home. This store is a treasure trove for enthusiasts of minimalist design. There, you can also find glasses with a transparent body adorned with a colorful handle - in my opinion, they look aesthetically pleasing and unique.

At the end of last year, Pantone announced the color for 2024 - Peach Fuzz. The shade is delicate, light, somewhat pale, and personally, I see it as an excellent choice for interiors. Orange is not exactly my favorite color - it often tends to be too vibrant, drawing attention in a way that doesn't always appeal to me. For this reason, I rarely opt for accessories or wardrobe items in these hues. However, Peach Fuzz truly convinces me; it has tremendous potential! Even in calm, subdued interiors, a small accent like a vase or a poster in this shade can bring subtle charm. I also believe that curtains in this color can brighten up and add energy to a space!

Usually, at the beginning of spring, I immerse myself in a somewhat "hippie mood" when it comes to design and fashion. I thoroughly enjoy movies like "Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood," which evoke the artistic atmosphere of the 60s. Therefore, this film definitely earned its place on my list of significant inspirations! Today, however, I will focus exclusively on matters related to interior design. My apartment is adorned with warm colors, so I believe that incorporating small accents has its rightful place. One of my favorite purchases from a few years ago is a candle holder with a mosaic pattern, featuring vibrant shades of green and yellow (when spring arrives, it will undoubtedly adorn one of the rooms;)).
And when I finally decide on the walls for frames, there will be slightly eccentric posters! In the future, I dream of adding a vinyl player or the Marshall speaker in a retro style.

In my opinion, it's a true classic that beautifully embellishes textiles, posters, porcelain, and more - ranging from abstract lines to delicate elements inspired by nature, it opens a broad field for artistic expression. On porcelain cups, plates, and trays, blue patterns add a unique charm. On posters and paintings, bold blue writings or abstract compositions draw attention, giving the room a distinctive character. What makes this color combination exceptional is the ability to create both elegant and intricate paintings, as well as more artistic and free-spirited patterns.

I love delicate details, such as stitching and decorative trims, that add a unique charm to textiles, like pillowcases or cushions. White bedding, carefully adorned with embroidery or a trim in an intense shade, such as navy or brown, immediately catches my attention. Even though these embellishments are small, they still stand out. I've already equipped myself with a tablecloth with a decorative trim and a set of white bedding from Ikea! I also dream of decorative pillowcases for decorative cushions in the living room. Despite my fascination with such embellishments, I try not to let the majority of decorations in one room be adorned with trims - I could overdo it and overwhelm the space ;)
