And here it is – the first recipe on DailyM! Very simple and perfect for dinner, parties, and more. A baked bun with a combination of vegetables, deli meat, and cheese was served for dinner today. After eating, I decided to share my culinary adventure with you.
Usually, my go-to for making dinner is simple sandwiches. However, today I was in the mood for something more elaborate! I opted for a baked bun with vegetables and cheese. I typically make them with ingredients like mushrooms and grated cheese. Today's version was (for me) quite elaborate. After eating, I concluded that this dish is worth describing.
Here are the ingredients I used to create the baked bun:
At the beginning, I chopped the ingredients that were going to be on the baked bun. I diced the bell pepper, cut the deli meat into smaller pieces, and thinly sliced the onion. I opted for a relatively small amount of onion to let its flavor subtly come through. Typically, I add grated cheese to baked buns or pizza, but I only had sliced cheese in the fridge – so I sliced it into thin strips. I drained the canned corn and transferred it along with the other ingredients to a plate.
Meanwhile, I preheated the oven to 356 degrees Fahrenheit and set it to a combination of upper and lower heating assisted by a fan. I sliced the buns lengthwise and spread a small amount of butter on each part. I placed the vegetables, deli meat, and cheese on the buns and put them in the oven for about 10 minutes.
I seasoned the baked bun with vegetables and cheese with a mild ketchup and enjoyed it with pleasure ;)
